More Studio Calico: Summer Camp

Two more Studio Calico LO's. I enjoyed some MAD MEN and some scrappy time last night. Also started watching Unites States of Tara with Ryan, WOW its awesome! (Thanks Mell).

Studio Calico: Summer Camp

My first two LO's with the Summer Camp kit from Studio Calico (I heart SC). I did these two before we left for the cottage. I think this is the very first time I have gotten a kit and not used up every last drop right away (only because we had to go away). I plan on doing that though this week :)

This LO has some Heidi inspired banners and her awesome crepe paper ribbon, sprayed with Glimmer Mist. The photo is from C'est La Vie Studio and Design :)
I took these pic for Father's Day for Ryan and had it framed. We both hope they have a girl band in the garage one day :)

Art Journal Addiction

I picked up a watercolor paper journal before heading to the cottage last week. I packed a bin full of paint, stamps, and some other odd bits. I had a blast playing in this book last week. It was so freeing, so fun, playful. I experimented and took inspiration from my surroundings. Thank-you Donna Downey for you inspiration Wednesdays!




I did this page the first morning at Cedar Cove.

This page was done by gluing a map of cedar cove down and painting over it.
I did this page after I saw a dragon fly on the door at the cottage. My dragon fly looks part butterfly though :) LOL I tried to get a close up of the stamp that looks like fish skin in pearl.

Style Scrappy

Have you noticed a bit of an eclectic mix of scappy bits on my pages of late. Its the result of having placed my scraps in a basket near my scrap table. I am addicted to digging in there and doing LO's just from the scraps. I even added a little tray on my desk with a random mix of embellies that have been finding there way on the page. Its like a little game :)

My crafty kids

We have been home a short time now....got home late last night...kids have been up only an hour and already they have a full blown craft mess going on. They are hilarious...they use everything...they have the gift bags, tissue paper, boxes, tags, cards from some gifts they got and are using them to make crafts. Lots of tape, glue and crayons. They are using the white batting that was in some slippers they got to make clouds...Kasey just came over with hers and I am looking at it thinking that looks weird....ITS CAT FUR...she has glued white cat fur to the paper!! OMG!!!
