A few things to share

I made this little keepsake tag to house Kasey's Golden Curls from her first hair cut...the curls are in the little glassine envelope. On the back of the tag is the story of the outing and also how I DELETED the pics of the camera (YIKES). I am going to tuck it inside her baby album :)



This is a simple LO, I want to use up some older supplies to make room for some of the stuff coming out of CHA that I am drooling over!!

I really want to focus on pages telling more of our story our daily story....I want to capture all these moments to savor forever :)

Medium Resist

I played around a little the other day, a scrappie experiment:) I wondered if I used Matte Gel medium if it would create a resist with glimmer mist. I tried both Gloss Gel Medium (tri art) and Matte Gel Medium (Claudine Hellmuth) and they both work great. I used Making Memories foam stamps to stamp with the gel medium the same way you would with paint on my Kraft paper. Once the gel dried I misted my Glimmer Mists on...and VOILA MAGIC...the Glimmer Mist resisted. I also brushed the gel on the edges of my chipboard border and then used the mists again. Can you imagine the possibilities :) :) :)

Psssst.......did you know that every day while Kasey naps Kayleigh and I scrap/craft side by side...its really quite cool...I am amazed at how she creates all on her own...craft'n by the seat of her pants :)

Long Weekend

Enjoying a long weekend, Ryan took last Friday and today off :) No house work today, do need to go grocery shopping but the rest of the day will be spent cuddling, scrapping and reading :)

Christmas Scrappies

I am working my way through our holiday pictures and capturing our memories in my pages. Its kind of sad, I miss the holidays. The other day Kayliegh said she wished Christmas was still here :( I agree. There is just something so magical about it all :) So for now I will re live it all in my scrapping :)

PS. A funny about the 2 pg LO....I think I went over board on the little stamps in the circles...might have looked better with just a few...but I was so excited that I WAS USING STAMPS...see I am not really a stamper and when I use them I get so excited and so proud of myself that I tend to go a little over board...kind of like when I was in the wiener dog sticker phase LOL

I couldn't resist sharing one of the lovely outfits Kayleigh has put together with you. She has been dressing her self since Christmas and many of the outfits are quite comical. I have been taking pictures and plan on a funny LO with them. Notice the casually draped sweater on the back of the chair :) LOL

A super quick mini

I made a super quick mini album yesterday. I used October Afternoon's Flash Card album. I sprayed the pages with Glimmer Mist and then added some masking tape as a place to add my journalling. Its a quick little record of our decorations. Here are a few peeks at it. (Thank-you for the pics Stephanie :) Oooh and I Glimmer Misted my buttons on the cover...how cool is that!!
