I think this LO is HILARIOUS....I have this picture of Kayleigh looking like she is leaving her playhouse peed off at her hubby. I used loads of techniques in the LO. I used masks to create the background shape, and inks, and perfect pearls to highlight the embossed card stock, I painted sticky back canvas and folded it to look like her playhouse, and crackle painted her rooftop.
A simple LO, using some leftover Sassafrass, I really like the look of the dimensional pearls by ranger in the border.

How's that for a Spooky picture LOL.....wow I am so sexy in the AM :) :)
These our are Halloween Invitations. The girls are having a little party the week before Halloween with their playgroup friends. I got the idea from who else other than Martha Martha Martha.
I covered the back in card stock and used masks, inks, glimmer mists and even some Rock Candy crackle paint :)
I posted a challenge on the Paper Passion Forum to create a LO using zero, zippo, NO patterned paper, and instead RUB ONS to create your design/pattern.
I layered my rub ons on the LO and on tags to create my LO.
PS. This is a great way to make use of older rub ons, and left over bits and pieces.
Come play along.

I played along with a progressive LO challenge at the Paper Passion. Dorrie gave us instructions to follow and other than that we were free to do as we pleased. Its amazing just how different the LO's are.
If I remember correctly the instructions were:
1. choose CS for background
2. one pp 12x3, one pp 9x9, and pp 5x7
3 adhere pictures on a piece of CS in a blocking format
4. use two stamps
5. use paint or ink
6. use a toilet paper roll (mine is cut in strips and adhered in a row of diamond like shapes)
7. use at least 2 pieces of chipboard
8. use bards more than 2

I am soooo excited for Halloween this year and have begun decorating already so that we have lots of time to enjoy the fun. I am going for a bit of a GOTH Look :) I made this center piece for our dining room table. The felt spider web runner was purchased at Michaels. The large bowl is an Italian Bowl I got for Christmas years ago and have not actually used till now. I filled the bowl with a black feather boa and 3 black twine balls all from Dollarama. I think it looks like some black exotic birds nest and eggs. The crystal dishes to the side are filled with glitter skeleton parts. I got the idea from Martha here. I purchased a skelton and cut the strings attaching ittogther, then glued and glittered it with Kayleigh's help. Yep, it was a mother and daughter project last night :)
Today I think we will make these party invitations together :)
