Just when you thought Glimmer Misting couldn't get anymore fun....I discovered this: RESIST with clear embossing. This entire Maya Road Bird Chipboard album is made with this technique and LOADS OF GLIMMER MIST. I applied Gesso to the whole album first and then either stamped (see script design) or used an embossing pen to doodle. Then I used a clear embossing powder on the doodles or stamped designs. Then I just went to town spraying my glimmer mists, trying out some new colors and letting it pool (my favorite technique) on the chipboard. The colors on this album are amazing!

I wish I could spray this stuff on my body and go out looking beautiful :)

Mommy and Me

Kayleigh and I enjoyed a Mommy and Me service yesterday afternoon :)

All though the booking of the service was beyond ridiculous (poor customer service, the need to put a deposit down, which could only be done through paypal, which in turn created an extra charge) the service it self was enjoyable. Here are some cute pics of Kayleigh with her braids, make up, and polished nails :)

This is why I read blogs :

Grab a coffee :) and enjoy.

This post drove home why I read blogs, why I gain so much inspiration and sometimes even that silent message to get back on track:)

Melody Ross

Tattered Angels Album

This album was sooo much fun to make. Friday night I gesso'd the whole album and then glimmer misted the HECK OUT OF IT :) I used all sorts of techniques like glimmer screens, masks, homemade masks made out of lace and dollies, resists with clear embossing and stamping, and just pain old glimmer misting like crazy and letting the colors pool and dry.

The next day I added my pictures, lots of ink, ink and masking, and ink and stamping :) I filled the album with vintage goodies and some of my fav tags and embellishes :)

The glimmer mist also looked really good in he cracks of the crackle paint and on the Melissa Frances Wings.

Scrappies brought to you by YOU TUBE

A little something fun for HUMP DAY....Check these out:

SCRAPPY VIDEO ONE : I love how she uses a piece of card board to paint white journal line son the LO, and also the way she stamps on white card stock and then cuts out the images for embellies.

Want to experience the joy of opening a nice big box of scrapbook goodies :) Its just like watching Stephanie or Rachel open a box of their goodies :) LOL
