I made this So Girly wall hanging from the kit I made for Elizabeth's Design a Kit SWAP over at Bad Girls.....let me just say this was fun!! I added some extra stuff to it but the majority of it was from the kit. The dress was actually made from Chipboard (I call it chicken board b/c I get it from Genna who get's it from the deli at Loeb!! LOL) Thank-you to Laurie and Steph who told me to bling it up a bit more, its much more BAD GIRL now :)

MMMMM it looks like CAKE

Look at what Kayleigh made this week at her M is for MESSY class at A Fine Mess! The heart boxes look good enough to eat. Part of the reason they look so good not that Kayeligh at 2 isn't very crafty id that Genna did most of the work while K washed dishes :) I guess the water and the sink were more interesting LOL. So you think she will let me have the boxes, they are really cool :)

So I did a wee bit of scrapping last night....I really love this LO, pretty simple just paper and ink....and its HILARIOUS!!

Ryan's Debut delayed :(

I'm afraid Ryan's You Tube debut is delayed by a lack of space on the MAC...working on transferring video on to our other PC. So keep those bets coming in the meantime.

To tide you over here's a LO I did with the Jan Bad Girls Kit. I am not a fan of the color green usually. But these papers really grabbed me with their bold designs and I have these pictures that are very GREEN. :) I used iridescent pale gold paint and green mica paint on the grunge board letters. Very pretty and shiny in real life. A simple LO to showcase the paper because you know its all about the supplies!!! LOL

Place your bets!!!

So driving home last night I was telling Ryan how I attempted and I do stress attempted a shoulder stand in the wii fit yoga. Ryan proceeded to tell me that he thought it would be easy as it must be simular to a head stand. A HEAD STAND like his old ass could do that!! Oh but he insisted that he could NO PROBLEM!! So we went home, I got the video camera and?????

Do you think he did it????

Video to come :) :)

ATC goodness

I made my first ATC's awhile ago for a Swap that Mellisa is hosting at Bad Girls. They have a real "deconstructed" look, very messy stitching. I have to say they were pretty fun to do.

Last night I stitched together these ATC wallets that can be used to take your ATC's to an event to trade. I used Amy Butler fabric on both. One is done with white felt, and the other with white fleece...the fleece was easier to use. I made changes on the second, using the fleece instead of the felt (too thick to work with) and also did a lining with the fleece, stitching the pieces together inside out and then turning over.

I'm Homesick God....

Checking out Wilna's blog this morning and she had Psalm 119 posted and it really spoke to me...had to share my fav part...

"...I'm homesick, God, for your salvation; I love it when you show yourself! Invigorate my soul so I can praise you well, use your decrees to put iron in my soul. And should I wander off like a lost sheep—seek me! I'll recognize the sound of your voice."

I feel a little lost lately, anxiety creeping back in...overwhelmed by the passage of time so quickly...caught up in the daily to do's...I'm homesick for you God...and yes when you show yourself in my life..or rather I finally take notice again..b/c you are always there..it does invigorate my soul...it colors everything I touch...and I feel lighted up.

Scrapbook Trends :)

The Mail Man woke us up from nap today (first nap in 3 days)...grrrrrr....BUT...at least he came with goodies! I got a pizza box loaded with scrappy goodness...at first I had no idea who it was from...have I been online shopping in my sleep? Then I saw this.....

I had no idea this would be out so soon :) Truly a great surprise :)

So I also completed my 72 hour challenge last night....check out Stephanie's here...

You had to use a bird or owl, lace, glitter, flowers, a frame, and at least 3 pp's. I turned the snowflakes into flowers with some brads in the center...sneaky eh? :)

More crafty goodness :)

Oh I have been in a creative mood of late, tonight I worked on my 72 hour challenge for Bad Girls, and really truly love the LO. Its all about Stayfunny :) LOL How can you not love that. Need to wait for good light to take pics of it. In the meantime here is a LO and a mini album I made in the last few days.

A rare pic of my sister Krissy, won't she just love that I have posted it on my blog, then again she never reads my blog so fair game!!

This album was made from We Are Memory Keepers "DIPSTICKS"...and 3 4x6 canvases...very simple and took maybe 30 min...to do. I loved the look of the dipsticks as they came on the ball chain and wanted to complement the look by making it into a mini album.
