Our uber creative vintage diva Elizabeth over at Bad Girls is hosting a DESIGN A KIT SWAP. I mailed mine yesterday!! It was super fun to put together and as the name suggests its all very Shabby Chic :)

The kit includes white Swiss Dot Bazzil CS, Prima Paintables Paper, Bo Bunny and Prima PP, Making Memories embossed frame,Prima flowers, 2 kinds of paper flowers that I have glimmer misted, pink buttons, white wings that I have shimmerz-ed, MME journal cards, Rebbecca Sower clips, crochet flowers, Embossed wall paper, chipboard dress, white washed mini clothes pins, and some awesome vintage trims.

Christmas Scrapping

I have been a busy scrapper this Christmas, I packed up my BG kit and some other supplies and dragged them to Norland with me to enjoy some creative time at my parents house. Nothing better than happy children alseep in their beds, and Mommy scrapping by the fire with a beer :) LOL

Its early, I have been up for much to long with a talky baby, why oh why is Kayleigh finally sleeping in and now the other one is up at a non-human hour, and on my non-sleep in day to boot :( LOL

Weiner Update

He WALKED!! Yesterday Frodo took his first steps!! A week after his surgery....PHEW!!! So his legs go all over the place, he's very wobbly and he still drags his legs sometimes but he is much improved!! He's even back to stalking K and stealing her food :)

Monday Monday

I'll start with an update on Frodo. We took him home Friday afternoon and he was so happy to see me that he POOPED all over me and then we had the great fun of spending about an hour in the car because of strike traffic smelling of POO!! Kayleigh kept saying "STINKY MOMMY" :) So he's been home 3 days and he can pee but we have to carry him outside and hold him up as he still doesn't really have any movement in his legs. We have to carry him everywhere, and give him pain meds, and do physio 4 times a day. In all honesty its really depressing. I've been having anxiety attacks since he got sick and we all just seem a bit down :( He is SUPPOSED to recover...so hopefully with diligent and loving care he will be wobbling around soon on his own :)

In the midst of all the craziness this past week I took sometime at some point and did this LO :) A LO to celebrate a wonderfully fun night :)

Ok so admission.....I am nursing a serious hangover...went out for Ryan's work Christmas gathering last night, only had 4 beer...it was my morning to get up with the kids, K woke up at 20 to 6!! I am in such PAIN!!! I am taking care of a 2 year old, a sick baby who cries if I put her down, and a sore weiner dog who also needs to be carried every where...I can't wait for Ryan to wake up!! LOL :) My own fault!! But boy oh boy did I have fun :)

Potty Funnies :)

Oh the funnies of a 2 year old potty training :)

We have a big mirrored closet right before the downstairs potty and Miss K has to stop and linger and admire herself every time she goes by. The other day she walked by and lifted up her dress and flashed herself and thought that that was pretty funny.

Monkey see Monkey do...because of my constant allergies I have come into the habit of blowing my nose with TP before wiping my bum....now K does this only sometimes she gets it backwards !!

and finally she is a STUNT pee-er...she lifts her legs up and shows off that she can look at her front bum...and sometimes the pee shoots out...you would think a boy would do this not a girl!!

Signing in

Its been a rough week for us. This past Monday we noticed our Wiener Dog, Frodo limping and then loosing use of his hind legs completely. We took him to the vet right away and were shocked to find out that he had a spinal cord injury. We were out of town at the time, and took him to see our own vet the next morning and were promptly sent to the Alta Vista Animal Hospital. We spent the Monday night thinking we were going to have to put hm down, and in the end couldn't bear the thought of loosing him. He has been a huge part of our lives for 8 years and also is Kayleigh's best friend. So decided to go ahead with back surgery, which took place Tuesday. Frodo is still in the hospital, we will be seeing him again tonight. He is doing OK, not great, has lost some ground, but they still expect a full recovery, only a slight wobble at worst. Its just looks like it will take more time. I am bringing him my sweat shirt today to have my scent with him. I miss him warming my feet in bed...they really are HOTdogs :)
