Oh this was super fun!! I went crazy with the glossy accents and crackle medium....that stuff is addictive.HOT MILK : Class 4 Accessorize
UNITY: The circle cut out in the pp that frames the pic and the grouped circle shaped embellishments (clocks, pp circles and buttons) draw the eye to the pic and around the pic. The clocks also add unity in that they reflect the theme of the journaling which is that Kayeligh asks for HOT MILK all day long!!!
HARMONY: is achieved through shape in this LO. In this case circles (clocks, pp circles, buttons, circle cut out, and THE CIRCLUAR SHAPE of the SIPPY CUP). Harmony is also achieved through the soft color palette; note I used gesso on the pic directly to wash out the harsh background.
BALANCE: The top right side grouping balances the bottom left side grouping and the top right side photo corner and title balance the bottom left side title and clock. The embellishments and PP’s form a smaller square framing the pic, within an overall larger square. The smaller square is asymmetrical to the larger.
TEXTURE (my fav) : I used ranger crackle accents, crystal accents, and a little stickles on the pp circles and clocks to add texture. These embellishments are layered at different heights with the use of pop dots. The papers are distressed which adds a great deal of texture. Lastly the gesso on the photo adds more texture.
