I am feeling Christmas-Y

Maybe its the boat load of snow outside, and the warm cozy house...I am really feeling the Christmas spirit :) I know I know Halloween isn't even over yet. But I did sign up for the SIS TV 30 days of Christmas and I have started and am very nearly done making my 25 days of Christmas Album (see Ali Edwards here). Did I mention I also won a Holiday Starbucks kit from WILNA!!! Not to mention that the girls and I were out at like 7:30 am today to play in the snow!! So you can see why I am feeling ever so Christmas like :)

I love love love the album I made inspired by Ali's...its full of repurposed paper and stuff. I especially love my BUBBLE WRAP PAGE!! Yes that's right....why not...we have lots of transparent plastic pages...why not bubble wrap!! Just think if you get bored you can pop the bubbles!! LOL I will post pics soon.

Tonight I am working on a gift for the girls that took my BODY ART JOURNAL CLASS as we are meeting tommorrow night to play at A Fine Mess.

PS....that's not a rat behind the pumpkin that's my dog!! LOL

Organized

I have been feeling a little overwhelmed by all the kid junk everywhere....and today took action! I cleared out and organized the main floor, the laundry room, basement and even the bedrooms...I found new uses for baskets and bins without buying new ones) and made a home for everything :) It feels soooo good! I even cleaned out the front hall closet and filled it with winter warmings :)

Going with this get organized kick...I have a bunch of pics from my week of picture taking (a week in the life) and they are not stellar pics, but they tell a story and are meaningful to me. I am scrapping them with journaling and simple designs....I like the change of style..suits my mood right now :)

I HEART Wilna :)

So as I was waiting for Wilna's blog to load this morning I was wishing and a dreaming of her running another online course (I loved loved her cupcakes and coffee one) and what do you know...she is part of a 30 day SIS TV online Christmas class...I signed up before I even finished reading her post LOL!!! I love ya WILNA!!!!

October Bad Girl Kit

I loved absolutely loved the October Bad Girls kits!! I only got the kit, no add ons this month (well I did get the card stock add on but that was only like $5 LOL) and made 6 LO's. I love how wild they make me feel, I create with abandon when I get my hands on these kits!! I love that I made my own pumpkin shaped LO (the pic doesn't show it but I used Bazzill swiss dots cardstock and the dots are really cool)!! I was inspired by all the shaped PP and thought why not a pumpkin shape!!! These were made almost entirely from the kit itself with a few items from my own stash.

TFL :)

Oh Happy Place

Oh what a happy place there is in little Barhaven...its called A Fine Mess :) I feel like this little store is my 2nd home. Kayleigh was breast fed on the tables there, Kasey has puked on the tables...Kayleigh has paint class each week there, and Mommy has met two amazing women there. Last night was the last class in our 6 week Body Art Journal, and I am truly amazed at how phenomenal these two women are, both in spirit and as artists. I am so thankful to have had this time with them. So here is a sneak peek at some of their pages...next Thursday once all the journaling is complete I will post more pics.

Oh and before I sign off you have to go see the pics Laurie posted on her blog of us at Supperworks they are hilarious!!! GO HERE
