Christmas Canvas

Genna did a similar canvas at A Fine Mess and I had to do one of my own. I love it!!! It only took me one evening to do, which is the best part :)

Its a 30x30 canvas, the papers are from the K&Co x-mas slab, very kitchy cool. I also used a white puffy paint to outline the trees. The black and white trees have a fine white glitter on them.

I freak'n love this LO

I did this double LO last night and freak'n love it. I used a blue paint that has a metallic iridescent sheen to it, you can tell in the scan. The scalloped CS was highlighted with the paint which is also not shown well in the scan. It's another quickie, barely took anytime at all. It looks awesome, and I don't mind saying so :) LOL

Quickie pages

I have been scrapp'n up a storm this week in the evenings, while the last three nights that is. I have a pile of photos that I just want scrapped. So these are simple and quick pages, no more than 20 min each. TFL.

First Snow

Kayleigh awoke Thursday morning to her first SNOWFALL (well I guess last year was her first but she was to young to notice :) Her eyes were wide with wonder and she loves playing in it. although she spends most of her time falling down and her snowsuit is to stiff to allow her the mobility to get up on her own. poor kid :)

The two of us our snow warriors we braved the weather two days in a row to wheel the stroller through the drifts to go swimming :) Now that's a workout :)

A Fine Mess

Last Friday Kayleigh spent sometime playing at A Fine Mess
Genna was super great helping her with her project, she painted her feet and hands to make the reindeer prints. Kayleigh looked so cute in her diaper and paint shirt, and had a blast. I hope she develops a real love for creating art :)

Mommy and Kayliegh

This was my first week home with Kayleigh full time, now that I am off work. It was a great week, she is so funny and cute and a joy. She has her moments, usually when I am trying to make dinner (man she drives me nuts then). Our days feel like OATMEAL, soulful, full of goodness, and warm for the heart. I also really like nap time :) We do a play group on Tuesdays at the city centre, and swimming once a week. I am going to put of flyers next week to see if there are any other stay at home moms in the area that would like to hold a play group once a week. Today we did a painting together at at A Fine Mess. I am very happy to be at home with her, so glad to have this time with her.

My St. Lucia Album

I made this album before I left and then brought some basic supplies, likes pens, stapler, adhesive, sum stickers and rubons with me. I added the photos after we got home. I had fun journalling each day on the beach. I mean hello how much better can you get then SCRAPPING on the beach :) LOL. I have a sickness.

So it was hot very hot in St. Lucia and for a knocked up gal it was a bit much unless I was in the ocean or on the water. I was asleep by 9pm every night and so was my hubby (due to rum consumption LOL) We swam in the ocean, sailed, ryan water skied, we snorkeled, saw a volcano, botanical gardens, water fall, the market, and ate and ate :)
